Nisha Warsi Personal Life

Nisha Warsi is the Generation Z defender featuring for the Indian national women’ hockey team. She hails from Sonipat Haryana and came to limelight when she featured in the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

Nisha Warsi Professional Life

The player made her international debut in 2019 in Hiroshima in the FIH Final Series. The player spent the pandemic in the national camp in Sports Authority of India, South Centre. In 2021, the player was selected in the Olympics squad which went onto qualify for the semifinals. She recently won the Bronze medal in 2022 in the recently concluded Asia Cup.

Nisha Warsi Family

Born in 1995, Nisha Warsi was born to a tailor family. Sohrab Ahamad was a tailor whereas Mahroon, her mother, worked in a foam manufacturing factory to support her family. She had modest aspirations as a kid as Nisha Warsi’s parents could not afford much for her sports. She tried to earn through sports to help her family. Her father suffered from paralysis in 2015 and it made Nisha’s life much more difficult. However, things eased at her place when Nisha landed a job in the Indian Railways.
