Short’s innings was the highlight of the match. He started slowly, but he found his rhythm in the middle overs and accelerated towards the end. He was particularly impressive against the spinners, hitting them for boundaries at will.

The Super Kings’ innings was built around Bravo’s knock. He came in to bat at number seven and immediately started hitting the ball well. He hit 5 fours and 6 sixes in his innings, and he also took a couple of brilliant catches in the field.
The win for Washington Freedom was their first of the season. They move up to fourth place in the MLC points table, while the Super Kings remain in second place.
Short’s innings was a timely one for Washington Freedom. The team had lost their first match of the season, and they were under pressure to get a win. Short’s innings helped them to do that, and it will give them a lot of confidence going forward.
Bravo’s knock was also impressive. He showed that he still has the ability to play big innings in T20 cricket. However, it wasn’t enough for the Super Kings, who will be disappointed to have lost after being in a good position at one stage.
The next match in the MLC will be between the Los Angeles Stars and the New York Empire on Tuesday
