Indian Hammer thrower, Manju Bala is a famous Athletics player who was born on July 1, 1989, in Ladunda, Rajasthan, India. Manju Bala is also known as Manju Bala Swami.

 

Manju Bala Professional Life

Manju Bala hails from Ladunda village in the Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. In her first 2012 Junior National Championships held in Chennai, the Indian hammer thrower won the maiden gold held at Chennai.

Manju Bala also broke the U-20 National Record in the hammer throw event at the National Federation Cup Junior and Youth Athletics Championship. In the competition, Manju made the mark of 52.26m to create a new record to the seven-year-old mark of 49.55m set by Archana Brar.

Indian hammer thrower Manju Bala made career-best throws to become champions at the 60th National Open Athletics Championships held in Warangal.

Manju Bala made a 60m mark with a career-best of 64.42m on her third attempt to clinch the women’s hammer thrower record from her Indian teammate, Hardeep Kaur who set the record at 61.67m in 2022.

Manju Bala Commonwealth Games 2022

In the 25th Senior Federation Cup Athletic Meet held in Kerala by marking the throw of 64.01m and claiming the silver medal. With this achievement Indian Hammer thrower, Manju Bala has been selected for the Commonwealth Games 2022. This year Commonwealth Games will be held in Birmingham, England

 

Manju Bala Asian Games 2022

Apart from Commonwealth Games 2022, Manju Bala is also been selected for the Asian Games. The Asian Games will be held from 10 to 25 September held in Hangzhou, China. 

At this event selection of Manju Bala, Olympic player Sapna Poonia, coach Parveer Singh, Subdeep Singh, Anil Poonia, Neeraj Jharoda, District Sports Officer Rajesh Ola, Subhash Yogi, and others told that Manju Bala experienced and hard work will get Indian more success and medals.
