Cricket player Luke Mafuwa Jongwe was born in Zimbabwe on February 6, of the year 1995. Mafuwa bowls medium pace with his right arm and bats right-handed.
Playing Cricket Career
For the three One Day Internationals (ODIs) against South Africa, Jongwe was chosen. On August 17, of the year 2014, Luke Mafuwa Jongwe played his first One Day International (ODI) at Harare Sports Club against South Africa. In six overs, Jongwe conceded 45 runs without picking up a wicket and went on to score 19 runs in a losing effort. On September 27, of the year 2015, Luke Mafuwa Jongwe played in his first Twenty 20 international (T20I) match against Pakistan.
In the month of December of the year 2020, Luke Mafuwa Jongwe was selected to represent the Tuskers in the Logan Cup for the 2020–21 season. More than five years after his last international encounter, Jongwe was selected for Zimbabwe’s Twenty 20 International (T20I) series against Pakistan in the month of April of the year 2021. Jongwe was added to Zimbabwe’s test team on April 26, of the year 2021, along with the other players for the series against Pakistan.
