Kane Williamson is in the list of modern great when it comes to batting and he is one of those rare cricketers who is loved by millions of cricket fans all around the world especially with the way he has conducted himself on and off the field.

Kane Williamson receives an award at the annual New Zealand cricket award for his stellar performance throughout the year. As he received an “ODI player of the year award for his good performance in ODI cricket”.
In the World Cup 2019, he scored 578 runs at an average of 82 including two centuries which culminated in him behind naming him the player of the tournament.
As New Zealand Head Coach Gary Stead praised him by stating “He was simply exceptional In ICC world cup with his amazing performance for New Zealand in that tournament”.
“Kane has a perfect demeanor and cool and calm attitude and he leads his team with his performance on the field and the way he builds those partnerships in the middle especially with the top-order batsman, as well as middle-order batsman, was simply impeccable” he added that.
However ace women cricketer Suzie Bates received the ODI Player of the year award and in the T20 Sophie Devine for women and Ross Taylor in Men received the award of Women and Men T20 player of the year respectively.
These awards were distributed online considering the impact of COVID 19 with this award Williamson has achieved one more feat for himself.
