Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri reacts on his side’s 2-1 loss to Udinese

Juventus manager says there is no point in dwelling over loss against AC Milan

Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri has finally spoken up on his side’s defeat against Udinese by 2-1 on Friday in the Serie A match. Sarri said that his side is currently ‘physically and mentally’ fatigued in the last few weeks.

“We lost order, even after the draw, because we wanted to win at all costs. In this way, we took the game to a dangerous level, and after the 90th minute, we lost it,” Sarri was quoted as saying on the club’s official website.

Out of the last five matches, Juventus has managed to win only one game, while two of them ended on a draw and the rest two ended in their defeat.

“In this period we are physically and mentally tired, and it is a problem common to all. For this reason, being aggressive is something more tiring and, therefore, now what matters most is order, because the inertia of a game changes very easily. It is difficult to keep it throughout the match and sometimes, like today, we lose it,” he added.

In this loss, only Matthijs de Ligt scored for the side and Cristiano Ronaldo was goal-less in the entire match from Juventus. While Nestorovski and Fofana scored one goal each to help the side secure a convincing win against Juventus.

Juventus has been leading the Serie A with 80 points and 25 wins, and they still have the chance to be crowned the champions if they defeat Sampdoria at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday.
