Jitesh Sharma a 29 year old who plays domestic cricket for Vidarbha cricket team is one of those effortless strikers of the cricket ball to look forward in the current Indian premiere league. He made his domestic debut in 2014 at the Vijay Hazare trophy 2013-14 season where he was the 2nd highest run scorer for his team with 164 runs. He was very consistent opening the innings in Vijay Hazare and was always amongst the top run getters for his team and was the highest run getter in the 2018 season with close to 300 runs to his name.

In Syed Mushtaq Ali he had a totally different role as a no.5 batsman  and he did not fail to shine there as well with the amazing striking ability that he possesses in the 2019 season he scored 107 runs in 6 matches at a strike rate of 137 and established himself as a proper no.5 for t20s in the 2021 season he upped his game even more higher with 214 runs at an average of 53 and a massive strike rate of 235. He has overall scored 1329 t20 runs in 54 games at a strike rate of 141 runs and these numbers created a demand for him as that lower order batsman  and finisher any t20 team would love and also gives the extra addition as wicket keeper which he has also been doing pretty well. His major strength is his ability to hit the ball powerfully down the ground and within the V which makes him a tuff player to bowl to even if you slightly miss your length he can clear the boundary with ease. Seeing his consistent and promising performances he was brought by the Punjab Kings in the 2022 edition of the Indian premiere league for a price of 20 lakhs and he did not disappoint with lot of crucial finishes down the order some of them include his 26 of 17 on debut against CSK with 3 sixes, Also his 38 off just 18 balls against Rajasthan Royals and his 44 against Delhi where he tried to single handedly take his team home. With 22 fours and 12 sixes with a strike rate of 163 he is now that perfect finisher Punjab where looking for and it will be very important he continues this vintage form and gives that perfect assistance down the order if Punjab are to win it this year.
