Ahmed Jahouh has been roped in for Mumbai City FC for the upcoming season of Indian Super League which is all set to start from November 2020. The 32 Year Old Moroccan joins the club on a 2-year contract. He started his carrier with Ittihad Khemisset before moving to Moghreb Tetouan in 2010. He played for Moghreb Tetouan for five seasons and played an instrumental role in clinching two titles in this process and featured his last season under the guidance of Coach Sergio Lobera.

He then played for Raja Casablanca and FUS Rabat, both in Morocco. His ISL stint started with FC Goa where he represented them for next three seasons and played 56 ISL games for them and also became the member of winning team who won 2019-20 title as well as Super Cup.
“I have spent three years in India and I believe that I have a lot left to achieve. When I spoke to the management at Mumbai City about the targets and the vision they have, I was convinced that this club is where I wanted to be,” Ahmed was quoted as saying in a media release. “And of course, a chance to reunite once again with coach Lobera was too good to pass up,” he added.

Head coach Lobera on his part said that the Moroccan is someone “who can control the game.” “He is an exceptional player and having worked with Ahmed before, I know he can make a difference. “He has the experience to help us in the games and he can help bring the best out of those around him as well. Ahmed will fit in perfectly with the extremely talented squad we are building here,” Lobera signed off.
He has also played an International game in 2012 where he represented his team in Arab Nations Cup. If you sum up his carrier till date based on his stint at different clubs he has played 230 games and scored 19 goals. He is also the first Moroccan footballer who played in India when he started his stint in 2017 for ISL club FC Goa.
