I would like to wish my Mumbai City family a successful season ahead,” said Chanso Horam.

“It’s a proud moment for me and my family. Mumbai City have shown a lot of faith in me, in what I can offer and I am thankful for that. They have a plan for young players like myself keeping in mind our growth and development. Going out to the I-League will help me hone my skills and I hope to return next season as a better player with more experience,” said Naorem Tondomba Singh.

Head Coach Sergio Lobera described the duo has an ability to influence the game at midfield position and change the phase of the game as quickly as possible.

“They are both still very young in their football careers, and after having had dialogues with the Club and the players, we have decided to loan them out for this season,” the head coach added.

The Club has signed many national and International players to boost their squad for the upcoming ISL 2020-21 season. As the ISL league which started in 2014 has witnessed an intense rivalry between FC Pune City and Mumbai City FC as both the franchise hails from the same state. It lasted till Pune was disbanded and dissolved into Hyderabad FC for the 2019-20 season. After Sergio Lobera was sacked from Goa FC who played an important role in guiding team towards wining the title. Mumbai quickly snapped up the Spaniard. Lobera is also responsible to lure some foreign and national players from FC Goa to Mumbai City FC.
