The team of Kolkata Knight Riders has got the substitute of experienced wicketkeeper batsman Liton Das. In place of Liton Das, the KKR team has announced his replacement. West Indies player Johnson Charles has been added by KKR in his stead. On a recent tour of South Africa, Johnson, 34, caused havoc with the bat. In just 39 balls, Charles had reached the century mark in this T20 game.

The West Indies side scored 258 runs in the allotted 20 overs during this match, which was played on March 26. In spite of this, the South African squad defeated their opponent by six wickets with seven balls remaining.
Last week, Liton Das left KKR and travelled back to Bangladesh for personal reasons. Liton Das was purchased by KKR last year for his basic price of Rs 50 lakh. He was just a member of the playing eleven for one game before being left out.
Johnson Charles, on the other hand, is the wicket-keeper batsman for the West Indies. In 41 international T20 cricket games, he has so far scored 971 runs. He has accumulated more than 5600 runs throughout 224 T20 games that he has played. He will sign with KKR for a base price of Rs. 50 lakh.
The team of KKR does not appear to be excellent based on the points table. Only three out of nine games have resulted in victories for Nitish Rana’s captaincy team. They are in a scenario comparable to Delhi Capitals. They must triumph in all five of their remaining games in order to advance to the playoffs. If not, a means must be discovered to qualify for the top-4 teams based on the performance of the other teams.
