The star batter also retired from international cricket way back in the 2019 World Cup in England. But he has made his name in T20 cricket.

While he took the IPL trophies in the years 2013, 2015, and 2017 for MI and for CSK in 2018 and 2021, over the years, he has become one of the most successful players in Cricket history. This season, he has scored 139 runs with an average of 15.44.

Hence, GT will look horn and will give a tough fight against CSK. On the other hand, CSK will try to win their fifth IPL trophy and gift it to their captain, MS Dhoni, as he will retire from CSK, as many are speculating.
