MS Dhoni will play his 250th IPL Game at the IPL 2023 Final on Sunday between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, making him the first player to do so.
Dhoni will also make history by becoming the first player since 2008 to participate in 11 IPL finals. Apart from one appearance for Rising Pune Supergiant in the 2017 final against Mumbai Indians, Dhoni has participated in 10 finals as captain.

Dhoni has guided CSK to four championships while placing second five times, in 2008, 2012, 2013, 2015, and 2019. With 180 runs in six outings, Dhoni is third among CSK’s IPL Finals run scorers, behind Suresh Raina and Shane Watson.
Rohit Sharma, who has played in 243 games since 2008, is Dhoni’s closest competitor in terms of appearances on the all-time record. In the league, Dhoni has scored over 5000 runs, including 24 fifty-pluses and 234 sixes.
The former captain of India has 377 appearances overall in T20s, which places him third among Indian players after Rohit and Dinesh Karthik. With 294 dismissals, Dhoni is also the most effective wicketkeeper in T20 games.
Speaking of the IPL Final in 2023, CSK and GT will enter the arena with all of their might in order to win the trophy. Shubhman Gill, the orange cap bearer for GT, will be the centre of attention, while Devon Conway, a batsman for CSK, has also been in excellent form and will want to keep up the momentum.
