In a low-scoring game on Tuesday, Aman Khan hit his first half-century in the Indian Premier League (IPL) to help Delhi Captitals (DC) defeat Gujarat Titans (GT). In a match between top-ranked Gujarat and last-placed Delhi that was dubbed “David v. Goliath,” Aman’s tenacious 51 lifted DC from a shaky 23-5 to 130-8 in Ahmedabad. The unusual DRS incident involving the 26-year-old all-rounder drew the attention of the spectators.
The event occurred on the last ball of DC’s innings’ 18th over. Aman attempted to play a pick-up shot over the keeper but missed and was struck in the pads by a full-length ball from Mohit Sharma.
GT captain Hardik Pandya opted to take a review even though it was obvious that the ball was not even close to the line of the stumps when it made contact with the pad.
Social media users trolled and mocked Hardik and company for the same.

Aman’s knock sparked DC’s comeback, as he formed crucial alliances with Axar Patel (24), Ripal Patel (23), and others to give his side a total, leading to the team’s third victory in nine matches.
Aman scored 51 runs from 44 balls, hitting three fours and three sixes before being bowled out by Rashid Khan’s leg spin.
Gujarat Titans will play their next match against Rajasthan Royals on May 5.
