IPL 2021: CSK skipper Dhoni and Rayudu arrive in Chennai for the training camp

Chennai Super Kings would want to erase the memories of IPL 2020 held in UAE as for the first time they failed to qualify for the playoffs since its inception.

It is believed that CSK has started their practice early now as they will be eager to return to their old form this year.

And now skipper Dhoni and Rayudu have landed in Chennai to start their training for the upcoming IPL season which is expected to start from April 10th 2021.

After finishing at the seventh spot last year Csk brought some new faces into the squad . But, Dhoni and Rayudu seem to be the first players to arrive for the training camp organised by the franchise.

The news about the arrival of these two players were shared by CSK on their official Twitter handle where they captioned two different post including the pictures of Rayudu and Dhoni and announced their arrival in Chennai.

As Ambati before arriving in Chennai was representing his side Andra Pradesh in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Even though the training of CSK has begun, there is a little doubt over the schedule of the matches of the league, as it is not sure when it will come out. The 2021 edition is supposed to begin on April 10, but the schedule hasn’t been released as BCCI are still mulling over the venues for the league. Last year, the IPL was held in the United Arab Emirates.

As per the reports are to believed, BCCI have finalized cities like  Chennai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai to host the upcoming edition of cash rich league.

However It will be interesting to see that whether matches will be held  in Mumbai based on huge rise in the COVID-19 cases in Maharastra and the government is thinking to impose lockdown once again to curb the disease.
