IPL 2020

An extremely confident Royal Challengers Bengaluru will take on a struggling and out of sorts Chennai Super Kings at Dubai International Stadium. RCB team have been playing good cricket which is justified by their standings on the points table. Another win and they are most certainly in playoffs. They are up against a CSK team who have been out of sorts in this IPL and are languishing at bottom of the table.

As things stand they might remain there when league matches get completed. RCB would not be complacent and will be looking to put another complete performance as they did against KKR. Starting with their batting they still remain vulnerable in the lower middle order from 5-7 positions where they lack someone who could start hitting from ball one.

Their top-order have scored runs although Finch has not been able to play one big innings as is expected from him but still their top four have scored runs to give their bowlers something to bowl at. Devillers has been absolutely magical with his hitting prowess with Padikkal, Kohli also having their moments. Their lower-order batting has not scored the number of runs that are required and if in a big game top four have a bad game then they might struggle.

Their bowling has been phenomenal with Morris and Chahal stand out performers and likes of Saini, Siraj, Sundar, Udana doing their bit effectively. They have got six bowling options and that gives them balance of mixing up bowlers to keep batsman guessing. Coming on to CSK they have been found wanting in every department.

Their batsman have been below par, except Duplessis and in most matches, they have lost 2-3 wickets in first 6-7 overs and with no adequate support in lower order as well they have not been able to pile up par scores. They are out of playoffs race and in last three matches, they should try new faces so that they could get an idea of how to start in 2021 season which is not very far away. Their bowling also has been inconsistent and not have been able to pick regular wickets. They have some new faces in that department and should give them a chance

.On a day any team can beat anyone but look at how the season has gone for CSK chances of winning look less than 1% and no harm in saying that RCB start as favourites for the clash.
