Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are at penultimate end of their career and these star players have already retired from T20 Format after they successfully guided India towards winning World Cup after the gap of 11 years.
These two cricketers are often called as Ro-Ko(Ro for Rohit Sharma & Ko for Kohli) would be most probably playing their last Champions Trophy as the next would be happening in 4 years and ideally looking at these two age don’t think they would play in next edition.
You never know if India manages to win ICC Trophy you might see either both or one of the them taking retirement from ODI format and focusing on Test Cricket.
Here in this article, we will primarily talk about these two ODI records against arch rivals Pakistan to be shared in the below format:

My Perspective:
These two batters, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are certainly one of the best white ball batters of all time.
These two together have combined 82 centuries in ODI Cricket.
Let’s talk about them in detail based on their psychological impact and expectation from them ahead of most probably their last ODI clash against Pakistan.
Let’s start first with Skipper Rohit Sharma, who has scored more than 11,000 runs in ODI Cricket.
Sharma has scored three double centuries in ODI cricket where his highest score being 264 runs against Sri Lanka.
Sharma, of late has developed a selfless brand of cricket as his goal is to capitalize powerplay, where he literally dominate bowlers all over the park.
The early damage done by him is perfectly capitalized by rest of the batters, to make big score.
His experience is the key and way he guides the other batter with him makes him an absolute superstar.
Combined this with his captaincy skills, makes him a player who will be expected highly to deliver big in the ongoing marquee event especially the one held today against Pakistan.
Let’s Move to Virat Kohli, he is probably the greatest ever white ball batter and match winner produced by India.
The ace batter scored 50 ODI century so far in International Cricket.
He has scored more than 13,000 runs in ODI cricket and need 15 more runs to touch 14,000 mark.
Kohli is certainly struggling with form, but big players needs big occasion to rise so hopefully it would be interesting to see how he would fare today against arch- nemesis Pakistan.
Kohli Batting average in ODI cricket is 57.93 with his highest score being 183 runs which came against Pakistan in 2012 Asia Cup.
Kohli said in an interview “I wanted to become the biggest match winner for India and the days when I was young used to see Team India chasing totals, He would believe that if given a chance he would chase down those total under extreme pressure”
He added “I always wanted bowlers to put price on my wicket they should never think that I am just another batter”.
Kohli walk the talk with his immaculate consistency, hardwork and perseverance made him one of the best batter of this generation.
Kumble while speaking to ESPN Cricinfo stated “Kohli should calm down, don’t panic in the beginning once his eyes are set he can easily take any bowler”.
Hoping as an Indian Cricket Fan, India Fires today and they deliver big against Pakistan in ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
