Indian sailors Nethra and Vishnu boats arrives in Tokyo for Olympics

Indian sailors including the likes of Vishnu Sarvanan and Nethra Kumanan on Thursday reached Tokyo with their respective boats have started training ahead of Tokyo Olympics 2021 which will start from July 23rd, 2021.

Nethra will be competing in laser radial event could be seen getting her boat ready for training in the pictures which has been shared by Sports Authority of India.

Nethra was in Spain whereas Vishnu was in Malta will be also competing in Laser read format in the upcoming marquee event.

The duo will be joined with other two pairs including the likes of Varun Thakkar and Ganapathy Chengappa who will be participating in 49er class were the first from the country’s contingents to arrive in Tokyo on Tuesday.

For the first time in the history of the Indian Olympics, four sailors will be taking part in Tokyo 2020 and also this is the first time will field sailors in three different events. The sailing competition will start on July 25th, 2021.

125 Indian players along with official and contingents which will be 201 in number will be taking part in Olympics 2021 and as per the Grace note which is an Olympic statistical expert based company have already predicted that India will be winning at least 17 medals in the upcoming Tokyo Olympics 2020 including 4 gold medals.
