Beginning on March 9th, 2023, in Nagpur, the Border-Gavaskar Trophy will pit India and Australia against one another for the coveted crown.
Both teams will be aiming to start their strongest players in their playing X1 so that both squad can give tough fight to each other.
Ahead of 1st Test both teams have started their preparation with Australia denying to play practice matches in India after landing in Bangalore considering their past experience where they played practice matches on green tracks but in actual matches they were given proper spin track which they failed to capitalize in the actual match.
Australian star batter Steve Smith stated that we were very clear in our head once we landed in India that we don’t want to play any practice game here instead we will be straight away going for main event.
They have roped in couple of Jammu and Kashmir bowlers to adapt actual match situation.
