“I let my bat do the talking” Babar Azam on fight with Mohammad Amir during PSL 2023

The PSL Season 8 has been successfully run in several Pakistani cities where the majority of close matches are played, which has boosted the spirit of competitiveness.

Every time a cricket match is played, teams and players come into focus, and the most recent rivalry between Azam and Amir has garnered attention on social media.

After his retirement from international cricket, Mohammad Amir continues to serve as an expert on various networks “Cricket matches are crucial because they keep players on their toes. I enjoy the trials that come with bowling to Babar or tailenders because you’re always trying to get wickets “said Amir in an interview with Ary News. 

The statement from Amir caused more debate on social media since supporters viewed it as a complete insult to Babar’s calibre.

Continuing, when Amir and Azam competed against one another in PSL season 8, Azam struck a few boundaries to Amir, and supporters said, “All Mohammad Amir’s wish has been fulfilled.”

Later, when asked about his rivalry with Amir, star batter Babar responded “These types of rivalries and moments are what I really appreciate because they keep you on your toes. Yet, I prefer to keep things straightforward because overcomplicating something will make me perform worse. These tasks are my absolute favourite.”
