Good News for Archery fans as World Archery announces live streaming “Knockout lockdown Tournament”

As the entire world is battling this pandemic and most of the countries are under strict lockdown. World Archery has decided that they will live stream the “Knockout lockdown Tournament” and it will be live-streamed on the federation digital channels where all the fans can witness the exciting contest between 8 compound archers (4 Men and 4 Women) who will be competing in this mega event.

Just in case you are not aware of how these matches will be telecasted. Let us help you with the same.

“The matches will be recorded on mobile phone and will be telecasted live on World Archery Youtube channel and Facebook platforms and the coverage will be produced from a remote location”.

Also, the highlights of these matches will be telecasted at linear television channels confirmed by World Archery Official.

Not every archer has been selected for this prestigious event only those who can safely shoot in socially distanced settings keeping the mind of the outbreak that this COVID 19 has brought.

It will be done under local health guidelines abiding all the medical instructions.

This event will kick start from May 1. The quarter-finals match will be played from May 9 and May 12. Where the semifinal match will be played on 14th and 15th May and we will witness the exciting final on 17th May.

The apex body has suspended the matches in this international calendar due to the outbreak of novel coronavirus.
