Australia all-rounder Glenn Maxwell recently got engaged to his Indian original girlfriend Vini Raman in Australia. Maxwell was seen sported an Indian look in the pictures of the engagement that are going viral on social media. Maxwell is seen wearing a “sherwani” and sporting a “tilak” on his forehead.
His fiancee posted a picture from their engagement on her Instagram handle and expressed her gratitude towards the attendees in the caption.
“Last night we celebrated our Indian engagement and I gave Glenn Maxwell a little teaser of what the wedding will be like,”
she wrote. “Shout out to both of our incredible families & all our friends who came to celebrate with us on such short notice — we are so grateful to be surrounded by some pretty amazing people,” Vini added.

The 31-year-old is one of the few cricketers who has spoken about his mental health and taken a break from cricket for the same. However, he seems to have recovered from anxiety and had made himself available for national selection for the limited-overs series against South Africa but was not included in the squad due to an elbow injury.
A key in Australia’s middle-order in limited-overs cricket, Maxwell has plundered runs at will. He made his T20I debut in 2012 and has since then featured in 61 T20Is from which he has 1567 runs and 26 wickets.
In the 50 overs format, the right-hander has played 110 games from which he has 2877 runs and 50 wickets.
In the longest format, he could not establish a name for himself. Maxwell has played only seven Test matches from which he has 339 runs and eight wickets.
He is also one of the biggest and most sought after names in franchise cricket tournaments. From the Indian Premier League to the Big Bash League, Maxwell is a marquee player in these leagues
