Arteta joined the Arsenal in December last year and since then Arsenal has lost just two games out of 15 matches.

Praising Arteta, Patrick said “Once a Gunner, always a Gunner and I am watching all the matches currently and I do that all the time” in an interview given to Adidas on their youtube channel.

The Frenchman said “What is good about Arteta that he brings new energy in the club which you can see from the outside that all the players are motivated and they are not playing for themselves but they are playing for the club”

Vieira has been with Nice since 2018 and was also expected to return to Arsenal after Unai Emery was sacked last year. The Frenchman also expressed his desire to manage a big club that will have a chance to win the Champions League but also said he is happy with his current stint with Nice.

Where he further stated that “I wanted to play with a top player. I wanted to play for the national team. I wanted to play in the World Cup. I wanted to play in the top leagues of the world and there is no doubt that I had the same ambition as a coach too”.
