FOOTBALL: Jordan Nobbs hopeful of some good years after extending the contract with Arsenal

There is great news for all the Arsenal fans as Jordan Nobbs who is the current vice-captain of the club has signed a new contract with them and assured all her fans that she has “some good years to come”.

However, she went on to add that “Arsenal is my everything now. I think football has overtaken my life since the age of seven, but I think I have got Arsenal in my blood now and I am very thrilled to say that. I think I have some great years to come,” the club official website quoted Nobbs as saying.

Nobbs who have made 206 appearances for Arsenal signed a contract extension on Tuesday. She has scored 66 goals for Arsenal and she joined Arsenal in 2010 since then she has contributed a lot for Arsenal winning mettle.

England international player had a glittering carrier at Arsenal, winning the FA Women’s super league 3 times along with Women’s FA cup 4 times. She has also been the part of that Arsenal team which has won the FA Continental Tyres Cup five times.

Head coach Joe Montemurro said Nobb Personifies what Arsenal means and she is made for Arsenal. He further elaborated that “She is the player that every coach wants to have in his/her team. If we put football aside she personifies what Arsenal means. To have players staying for pretty much their whole carrier is something that’s very, very special from coaching perspective”. Montemurro said.

“As there is a unique situation in coaching and in forming groups to have players who are engrained in the fabric of the club and we wish her all the best going forward. She’s an important part of our making as a squad”. Montemurro further added.
