The stage has been set for Esports in Commonwealth Games where several players will compete against each other on August 6th and 7th 2022 which will be held in the International Convention center held in Birmingham.
It will be a pilot event that will certainly pave the way for organizing video game competitions in the biggest sporting events in the world.
The preliminary rounds of the Commonwealth Games will act as qualifiers for the semi-finals and finals.
Let’s have a look at the list of all the games which will be part of CWG 2022 in detail:
- Dota 2
- Rocket League
- eFootball Series
Indian team will be participating in two games out of these three which include- DOTA 2 and Rocket League where Hargun Singh, Sandeep Sahani, and Rushil Reddy will be the member of former game and Ketan Goyal, Abhishek Yadav, Shubhnam Goli, and Vishal Vernekar will be representing the nation in the latter.

- 10:30 am: Rocket League (Open) – Third Place match
- 11:30 am: Rocket League (Open) – Grand Final
- 1 pm: eFootball Series (Open) – Third Place match
- 1:30 pm: eFootball Series (Open) – Grand Final
Day 1 – Session 2:
- 3 pm – DOTA 2 (Women’s) – Third Place match
- 6 pm – DOTA 2 (Women’s) – Grand Final
Day 2 – Session 2:
- 3 pm: DOTA 2 (Open) – Third Place match
- 6 pm: DOTA 2 (Open) – Grand Final
