Divya Tewar Biography: Divya Tewar is an Indian Judoka player who is well known for representing India at the 2008 Beijing Olympics in the 78 Kg category. She was one of the two women to represent the country at the Olympics but failed to qualify for the finals.

At the 29th Olympic Games, she ended up with a dismal run after going down against Yalennis Castillo of Cuba in the 78kg Category in the preliminary round, was then beaten by Kazakhstan’s Sagat Abikeyeva in the first repechage.

Divya’s fight was over in just 13 seconds as she finished on the wrong side of a 1000-0 scoreline.
