Dilani Manodara made her ODI debut against Pakistani in the Women’s Asia Cup on December 14, 2006. However, she did not get to bat as Sri Lanka chased the total easily with seven wickets remaining.

She continued to feature in the national side as the front line wicket-keeper and kept wickets for the side in ODIs. 

Three years later, Dilani made her T20I debut during the ICC Women’s World Twenty20, playing against Pakistan on June 12, 2009, which Sri Lanka won comfortably. She is now named in the Sri Lanka women squad for the 2020 Two World Cup in Australia.
