Cristiano Ronaldo touches 100 million followers, becomes first person to achieve this record

Portugal’s star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has become the first person in the world to have one billion or 100 million followers across social media platforms. Ronaldo gave this information himself through social media posts.

Ronaldo’s social media followers have more than 638 million (63.8 crores) followers on Instagram, more than 113 million (11.3 crores) on X, 170 million (17 crores) on Facebook and 60 million (6 crores) on YouTube.

Ronaldo is the most followed celebrity on Instagram. The second is Argentine footballer Lionel Messi, who has 500 million (50 crores) followers. 

Ronaldo shared a clip of his football journey on social media after achieving this milestone. Ronaldo thanked all the fans while sharing this video. Also said that he had dreamed this for a long time, which has been fulfilled. There are still some more dreams to be fulfilled.

Cristiano Ronaldo recently launched his channel on YouTube. He currently has more than 60 million (6 crores) subscribers on YouTube. He set a new world record of one million subscribers, the fastest on YouTube. He got 13 million (1.3 crores) subscribers on the channel in less than a day. This is also a record. Earlier this record of most subscribers in a day was in the name of the Hamster Kombat channel.

World’s first player to score 900 goals Ronaldo scored the 900th goal of his career in a match against Croatia on 5 September this year.
