Australian cricket needs some serious thinking at the moment especially their men’s team who used to dominate in the past especially the era of 90s to 20s they were invincible and winning in those days against Kangaroos was considered the biggest achievement.
But when you look at the current performance of the Australian Men’s team you will wonder is this the same team who were undefeated once and now the opponents take them very lightly as their recent dismal performance against West Indies and Bangladesh where they lost the T20 International series especially this is T20 World Cup year is a serious thought that Kangaroos needs to ponder.
Despite all the allegations has been raised against Head Coach Justin Langer Cricket Australia has released a statement where they have backed Justin Langer to deliver in upcoming tours for Kangaroos.
“He is contracted as Head Coach through to the middle of next year with the focus now on a successful T20 World Cup campaign followed by the home Ashes defense in what is one of the most anticipated Series and summers of cricket in Australia for many years,” the press release read.
“Like many in the community and around the world, the team has had an extremely disruptive and challenging 18 months during the pandemic. Despite those challenges, the side has had great success in One-Day, Test, and T20 cricket, when all players were available. Justin, his coaching staff, and the leaders within the team have an equally important part to play in ensuring a successful summer ahead for the Australian cricket team,” the statement’s last part read.

Many reports have been speculated in Australian Media where they have clearly depicted that all is not well in the dressing room and it is mainly because of Justin Langer who had temper issues which has been highlighted on several tours. As per Cricket Australia, Head coach Justin Langer will complete his contract that is till mid-2022.
