Credit for the Pro Kabaddi League’s striking transformation in Kabaddi’s reputation in India goes to the players, officials, and supporters who have all put in a lot of effort in the background to make this sport a success.

According to the most recent information from Mashal Sports, who are the official organizers of the men’s Pro Kabaddi League, the women’s PKl will shortly be held in its entirety.

The women’s PKL will draw inspiration from the men’s PKL’s successful 10 previous iterations, so once it gets going, it will undoubtedly get attention.

The full fledge editions of Women’s PKL will be organized in association with AKFI(Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India) and International Kabaddi Federation(IKF).

“Our plans for a professional women’s kabaddi league are based on the success we have seen in the men’s league. The plan is also part of our vision and commitment to grow kabaddi as a modern world-class sport from India,” said PKL Commissioner Anupam Goswami in a statement.

“We will be working with our various stakeholders, including the AKFI and the International Kabaddi Federation to launch the women’s league,” Goswami added.

Pro Kabaddi League is an Indian Professional Men’s League where 11 teams will competing against each other for the coveted crown.

Pro Kabaddi League has provided platforms to top overseas players to compete with best Indian players in the business.

PKL has revolutionized the game of Kabaddi to wider extent.

The game of Kabaddi was not so much popular before 2014, as the game needed Commercial angle and financial stability to distinct players so that they can make name for themselves.

WPKL will provide platform to talented players to earn financially and showcase their skills at a grand stage.

Indian Kabaddi still needs to work on improving the ecosystem of grassroot players so that proper pathways can be developed for young players and they can make name for themselves.
