Big Breaking; Ex India footballer Syed Sabir Pasha joins Indian Football Federation as Technical Director

A huge regime change is taking place in Indian football, after Kalyan Chaubey and Shaji Prabhakaran appointed as President and Secretary of All India Football Federation(AIFF).

Talking about the latest development, Syed Sabir Pasha has been appointed as the new technical director for AIFF.

With this he has created a history, by becoming first Indian to become technical director of AIFF on full time basis.

His appointment has been great sign for Indian football as he brings his coaching expertise on the panel where he has worked woth teams at national and International level.

AIFF President Kalyan Chaubey is happy with Pasha’s appointment and stated that the expertise Pasha shared in Indian football will immensely help India in the leadership role as well as it will help them to flourish technically so we are elated on his appointment.

“Given his experience and the work he has done throughout his playing and coaching career, he is a deserving candidate to be the Technical Director. We are very sure that he will grow in the job and will be taking the leadership role in the technical matters of Indian football.”

Current AIFF Secretary, Shaji Prabhakaran stated that, Pasha will be working under our Chief Technical Officer Vincent Subramaniyum.

“He will be guided and mentored by senior pro Vincent Subramanyam, who is our Chief Technical Officer.”

Pasha as player made his national team debut in 1993 is known for scoring an important goals in the final contest of SAFF(South Asian Football Federation) games held in 1995 against Bangladesh in Chennai.

Pasha has played an important role in distinct tournaments  like Nehru Cup held in 1993 and 1995, SAF Games in 1995, Asia Cup and World Cup qualifiers held in the year 1996 respectively.

For his immaculate effort as a player he has also win Golden Boot twice in the year 1994 with six goals under his arsenal and nine goals in 1998 and for Tamil Nadu he has scored overall 26 goals.

His appointment as Technical Director will impact football in a positive way.
