Arsenal’s defeat against Brighton means City can become EPL champions this weekend!

The Premier League matches this weekend saw some startling outcomes. Even worse conditions develop in the top four races. Nevertheless, with Manchester City winning the cup and Arsenal finishing as runners-up, the top two spots in the points standings appear to be all but decided at this stage.

There are currently four teams battling for the third and fourth slots, and the competition is still going strong and getting filthy.

The Citizens extended their lead over Arsenal from one to four points on Sunday by defeating Everton by a score of 3-0 at Goodison Park. Gundogan played superbly the entire game and was the game’s deciding factor. In order to help his side win the Premier League for the third time in a row, he scored two goals and assisted one for Haaland.

On the other hand, Arsenal suffered a shocking loss against Brighton, who are currently seeking an European entry and are placed 6th in the table, fighting for the 3rd and 4th spots in the table.

With this defeat, they have almost no chance of winning the Premier League because they are 4 points behind City and have played one more game than they have.

There are three games remaining for Manchester City to play: Chelsea, Brighton, and Brentford. They just need to win one of them. The match against Brighton, in my opinion, might be a bit challenging, but the Blues will easily defeat the other two.

Arsenal will be praying for a miracle to happen for them since they need to win both of their remaining games and City must drop all three to allow the Gunners to win the Premier League. Even Odegaard acknowledges this, and following the defeat to Brighton, he stated in an interview that there is no longer any chance for them to win the league title. However, Arsenal has won everyone’s heart this season, and we hope they continue in this vein and excel in both the English and European leagues in their upcoming campaign.
