Ahead of LSG vs MI Clash Mumbai Indians Owner Mukesh Ambani Pays SPECIAL Visit to Siddhivinayak Temple!

LSG VS MI, Lucknow Super Giants Vs Mumbai Indians, Indian Premier League

Mumbai Indians owner Mukesh Ambani on Wednesday May 24th, made a special visit to Siddhivinayak Temple on the day of the Eliminator tie between LSG VS MI at the Chepauk stadium in Chennai. The 5-time champions after finishing 10th last season have produced a terrific comeback this season as they finished 4th in the league stages.

But before MI and LSG lock horns with each other later tonight, MI owner was seen entering the Siddhivinayak Temple at Maharashtra, Mumbai. The Siddhivinayak Temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha and the entire population in the city often turn up in numbers to the Holy temple.

It can be said that Mukesh Ambani visited the temple for good luck as his franchise Mumbai Indians have reached the knockout stages for the first time since 2020 when they lifted their 5th IPL trophy by beating Delhi Capitals in the final.

Last year, MI won only 4 games and lost 10 games, accumulating as much as 8 points in the entire season. But this season they have performed according to their high standards. In 14 matches, MI secured 8 wins and lost 6 matches. In their final league match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, MI won by 8 wickets and 12 balls to spare.

Cameron Green’s 100 off 47 guided MI towards a comfortable victory and later on Gujarat Titans’ win over Royal Challengers Bangalore paved the way for the 5-time champions to fix a meeting with LSG in the eliminator.

If we talk about a little about their head-to-head record then MI have never won a game against LSG. It is similar to the record between CSK and GT. Chennai too had never won a single match against Gujarat but last night the streak was overhauled by MS Dhoni’s side.

Tonight MI will be expecting to do something similar. When the 2 teams met each other for the first time this season, LSG went on to win the match by 5-runs.
