Abhishek Verma the archer from India was born in India on June 26, of the year 1989. Together with Rajat Chauhan and Sandeep Kumar, Abhishek Verma won the gold medal in the men’s compound archery team event at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea, as well as the silver medal in the men’s individual compound event.
Archery Career
At the Stage 3 of the Archery World Cup in Wroclaw, Poland, on August 15, of the year 2015, Abhishek Verma took home the gold medal in the compound men’s individual division. At the Archery World Cup Final in Mexico City on October 25, of the year 2015, Abhishek Verma took home the silver medal in the compound men’s individual category.
Abhishek Verma, Chinna Raju Srither, and Amanjeet Singh of the Indian men’s compound team defeated Colombia 226-221 on the penultimate day of the archery World Cup stage one competition in Shanghai to take home bronze.
