A day after registering best figures in IPL, Mohammad Shami’s troubles increase as estranged wife Hasin Jahan goes to Supreme Court!

Last night at the World’s Largest cricket stadium in Ahmedabad, Senior Indian pacer Mohammad Shami registered his career best stats with the ball as he finished his quota of 4 overs of 4/11. Shami alone was responsible for breaking the spine of Delhi Capitals’ top order.

Shami took a wicket in the very first ball of the 1st innings as England’s Phil Salt departed for a golden duck while playing a cover drive as he found the hands of David Miller in the cover region. In the next over, Delhi were reduced to 2 wickets through a run-out as a result of a mix up between Priyam Garg and Captain David Warner.

In the 3rd over, Shami resumed his spell and got rid of the dangerous South-African Rilee Rossouw and in his 3rd over, the Indian pacer bowled 2 similar deliveries to edge out Manish Pandey and Priyam Garg. Gujarat skipper Hardik Pandya then asked Shami to finish his spell within the first 10 overs and the latter returned with outstanding figures.

But there were 2 bad news for Shami right after that spell. First, Gujarat Titans lost the match by 5-runs in what was supposed to be an easy run chase and the next morning, Shami’s estranged wife Haseen Jahan has once again re-opened the dispute between them by knocking the doors of Supreme Court.

A couple of years ago, Haseen Jahan alleged Mohammad Shami of demanding dowry, having extra marital affairs and causing domestic violence. She took the case to Calcutta high court after a session court waived off the trial but little did she know that the Calcutta High court will also give the same verdict as before.

And now Haseen Jahan has re-opened the never ending saga and has submitted a plea to the Apex Indian body for justice.

The plea read that Mohammad Shami despite being a married man used to maintain sexual affairs with Prostitutes during tours the tours sponsored by BCCI. Jahan also said that Shami used to have 2 mobile phones to coordinate all of his business dealings with prostitutes and the same phone was examined by Lal Bazaar Police in Kolkata.

It is also being said that the Plea mentioned the fact that Shami did not appear for a single trial in the last 4 years and the case is yet to reach the next stage. Is it because BCCI is backing Shami or the pacer is actually not wrong. Advocates Nachiketa Vajpayee and Divyangna Malik helped lawyer Deepak Prakash with the filing of the case.
