Zahoor Khan, a cricket player for the national cricket team of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), was born in Pakistan on May 25, 1989.
Playing Cricket Career
On January 16, 2017, during the 2017 Desert T20 Challenge, he made his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut for the United Arab Emirates against Afghanistan. On January 24, 2017, he played in his first One Day International (ODI) for the United Arab Emirates against Scotland. He had the best ODI bowling stats for an Emirati on 2 March 2017 when he defeated Ireland with 6 wickets for 34 runs.
He was included in the United Arab Emirates team in January 2018 for the Division Two match in the 2018 ICC World Cricket League. He was included in the United Arab Emirates team in August 2018 for the 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier competition. He was selected for the United Arab Emirates team for the 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup in December 2018.
He was chosen to represent the Brampton Wolves franchise side in the 2019 Global T20 Canada competition in June 2019. In September 2019, Khan was added to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) team in anticipation of the UAE hosting the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup qualification. One of the ten cricketers handed a full-time contract by the Emirates Cricket Board for a year in December 2020 was Zahoor Khan.
