Wrestling protest updates : WFI Coach Mahavir Prasad Bishnoi says he is ready to be hanged if proven guilty!

Amid the outrageous Wrestlers protest against WFI chief Brij Bhushan Singh, the designated coach of the wrestlers Mahavir Prasad Bishnoi came forward to disclose his stance in the on-going tussle between the country’s best wrestlers and the apex body which takes care of the wrestling fraternity.

Without a doubt, the wrestling protest is somehow tarnishing the image of Indian wrestling around the world. The cry for focusing on sports other than cricket is growing more than ever and Dronacharya award winning Coach Mahavir Prasad Bishnoi just dropped a major bombshell.

He stated that if there is even 1 percent of truth in the allegations against Brij Bushan Singh then he will hang himself and Die. Now what does it mean? Is he with the Wrestlers or with the Federation? In his own words, Mahavir Prasad said that he is with no one and his stance is rather neutral.

But if he is neutral then why is he favoring the WFI president and how is he so sure of Brij Bushan Singh not being guilty? Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia recently said that Mahavir Prasad alongside the secretary general of Haryana threatened and also offered bribe to keep their mouths shut about the incident.

Following the allegations on Mahavir Prasad, he came forward and clarified that these are all baseless comments and if the charges against him are true then he will hang himself to death and also stated that he is ready for anyone to check the call logs if there is any doubt.

“You can check my call records and my locations in the last few days. There is no truth in these allegations. I don’t even know who the victims are. If it’s proved that I am involved in giving threat calls, I am ready to be hanged,” Bishnoi told PTI.

Mahavir said that just because he is not willing to get into this issue and stay neutral, the Wrestlers are trying to tarnish his image as well. He clarified that Bajrang Punia had asked Mahavir to join him in the protest but he refused because his passion is for Wrestling and not these controversies.

“Bajrang had called me and requested to join the protest and I refused politely by saying that I want to stay neutral. I quit my CISF job, purely for my passion for wrestling, and joined the national camp to help prepare the wrestlers. And I have delivered, giving results as Greco Roman coach at National Centre of Excellence (NCOE) at SAI centre in Sonepat. I was there for 16 months. I am into all these things. I don’t know why they are dragging me into this.”
