The opening game of the main event will take place in Mumbai on March 4, 2023, according to the most recent information.

The inaugural match between Mumbai and Gujarat will be played at DY Patil Stadium, and the full-fledged women’s IPL will be played in Mumbai at both of these stadiums.

Starting on March 4th 2023 and lasting until March 26th 2023, it will be a 22-day long full-fledged event.

Arun Dhumal, the current IPL chairman, acknowledged the information while speaking to PTI.

In addition, BCCI sold media rights to Viacom 18 for a staggering INR 951 crore after selling five franchises teams for a massive INR 4669 crore.

This major competition has a per-match worth of 7.09 crore, which is significantly higher than PSL and is regarded as the second-richest T20 league in the world.

Focusing more on the WIPL 2023 auctions, only 180 players will be shortlisted out of the 1500 that have registered for the major tournament.

Only 90 of the 180 available places can be chosen by five different franchise.

Every franchise is allowed to select a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 18 players. There is also a little modification to the regulations when it comes to fielding playing X1, where they are permitted to select 5 abroad players as long as one of them is from an associate nation.

Given the quantity and calibre of players who would demonstrate their abilities on the table, it would be a legendary event.
