Women’s IPL: BCCI to invite bids for media rights for 2023-2027

When there is all discussion happening around the start of full fledge women’s IPL so that it can benefit women’s cricket in the country.

Talking about the latest development, BCCI invites bids for media rights for the Women’s IPL for the next 5 years starting from 2023-2027.

“The Governing Council of the IPL invites bids from reputed entities to acquire the Media Rights for the Women’s Indian Premier League Seasons 2023-2027, through a tender process,” BCCI stated in the release.

The invitation to Tenders have disclosed their detailed terms and conditions which include eligibility requirements, the process of submission of bids, proposed media rights and packages and others important information was mentioned in that invite.

“Interested parties are requested to email the details of payment made for the purchase of the ITT to [email protected], as per the procedure laid down in Annexure A. 

It is clarified that the ITT documents shall be shared only upon receipt of payment of the non-refundable fee as above,” BCCI further stated.

“It is clarified that merely purchasing this ITT does not entitle any person to bid.”

“Only those satisfying the eligibility criteria set out in the ITT and subject to the other terms and conditions set out therein shall be eligible to bid,” BCCI stated.

“BCCI reserves the right to cancel or amend the bidding process at any stage in any manner at its discretion.”

Full Fledge women’s IPL is the need of an hour as it will help bringing more talent in the national side also women in Blue is losing knockout matches against top side teams like Australia and England which they should have won in order to overcome that pressure factor these talented women’s cricketers of our country needs to share dressing room with top class talent from all over the world which has ultimately benefitted Men’s cricket.
