Wimbledon 2025: Aryna Sabalenka Wins 1st Round Easily; Alcarez Need More Hardwork to Win Title
Wimbledon is touted as one of the oldest Tennis Tournaments in the world where the event is happening from 1887 onwards where the best player in Tennis would compete against each other for the prestigious trophy.
The Men’s Trophy which is awarded to winner is broadly divided into length and breath which include- 18.5 meter long and 7.5 meter width.
The trophy doesn’t change but the original trophy is not given to players replica is given to them.
The actually trophy is kept in All England Tennis Club.
What makes this league distinctively different from others is based on the fact all the players need to wear white dress instead of colorful stuff.
Many Women Players have raised this concern, as during periods wearing white dress is not comfortable for them however organizers didn’t made any change in the rules.
Out of all Four Grand Open including the likes of- French Open, US Open, Australian Open and Wimbledon the last one is different from other three as the one shared above is organized by National Body instead of Private club who organize Wimbledon.
There is a special pet called Rofus the Hawk, which is trained to make sure rest of piegons surrounding the court should be kept away.
The Royal boxes and Royal Family is involved when it comes to watching Wimbledon games.
Talking about possible match scenarios- Aryna Sabalenka top seed where she defeated her opponent by 6-1,7-5 via straight sets and she is one of the front runner to win Trophy.
She won that encounter against Carso Branstine where the latter had no answer of giving it back to Aryna Sabalenka.
What was more inspiring about Caros Branstine where she was model in United States later switching to Canada, where she spoke about challenges in modeling industry and it is easier for me to switch to Professional tennis.

“The Modelling Industry is not very consistent and when I am travelling I may miss 10-20 jobs and you have to go to castings and then there is fittings, and it takes little bit sometimes and lot of Jobs I have done have been last minute. I’m like Okay great, I can squeeze this in somehow. But there is much more to my story then modelling”
On the other end, Carlos Alcarez most probable front runners to win this contest where he survived a scare from Italian Fabio Fognini in a generational clash, that saw much tennis as tracks, range and rage that sparked the sun.
Carlos Alcarez defeated 7-5, 6-7(5), 7-5, 2-6 and 6-1 to win this contest.
It was contest one of its Kind as 22 year old is five time major winner would be up against 38th year old Fognini who is probably playing his last Wimbledon.
“First of All I don’t understand why it is the last Wimbledon from him the way he is playing Tennis he could probably play for next 2-3 years and I need to give him credit for fantastic match, and Alcarez looks struggling when it comes to his serves in the first four sets which could be perfectly decoded by the fact that he faced 21 Breaking points in the match in retropsect to Foginini only had 15.
Overall Alcarez as quality talent would learn from his mistakes and come back stronger in coming matches.
On one end he is looking front runner to win Men’s Singles title but he would to beat the challenges posed by Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic one being World Number 1 player and other being one of the greatest player ever to play this sport and chasing down the total of 25 grand slam.
Indian players would be competing in doubles category not in singles there is immense challenge in that we would get to that topic later.
