Why Dhruv Jurel felt proud after being dismissed by MS Dhoni?

Despite being 41 years old, MS Dhoni is still performing at a high level. The skipper of the Chennai Super Kings has been batting effectively and making smart decisions behind the wickets. CSK recently visited Jaipur to play Rajasthan Royals. Despite CSK’s defeat, a sizable contingent of supporters were there to express their support for the team and Dhoni. They had various reasons to cheer thanks to the legend.

Dhoni orchestrated the CSK attack and, with a single effort, produced a stunning runout. Dhoni ran out Dhruv Jurel on the fourth delivery of the final over of RR’s innings. Dhoni dove to his right to catch the ball after Matheesha Pathirana produced a wide delivery and caused the run-out with the perfect throw.

Jurel has stated that he is happy that Dhoni ran him out of the game. Jurel discussed being run out by Dhoni in a video broadcast by Rajasthan Royals on their official YouTube channel. “I shall feel happy when I look at the scoreboard 20 years from now and see that Dhoni sir ran me out. There won’t be a different name. Dhruv, with the words “run out by Dhoni” below. That’s all I need, thanks” Jurel said.

MS Dhoni has appeared to be far from finished as he enters the 16th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). In addition to providing outstanding leadership for Chennai Super King (CSK), the wicket-keeper batsman has had memorable cameo appearances with the bat too.

On April 30, CSK and PBKS will square off in their next game.
