Where did the Premier League’s 100+ charges against Manchester City go as the club won its 5th PL title in 6 years?

What a time to be alive if you’re a Manchester City fan right? The Club after tasting success in the Premier League for the 3rd year in a row is nearing towards more success with 2 more Finals yet to be played. Before they take on Manchester United in the FA Cup final and Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League final, City have 2 important Premier League clashes against Brighton and Brentford.

The Cityzens will be aiming to end their Premier League campaign on a high note. They can win as much as 6 points in their remaining games which will take them to 94 points. They are just 2 points away from touching the 90-point mark for the 2nd season in a row.

Amid their near perfect season (which is awaiting the Champions League), the main question which is arising in my mind right now is that where did the 100+ corruption charges against Manchester City by the English Premier League go?

Earlier this year during the starting of February, news had broke out that Manchester City have been slapped with 100+ corruption charges against them. According to the rule books of the League, clubs can only spend what they earn in the entire season.

And Manchester City were reportedly hiding their actual spending on players since 2018 onwards. In that period, the club won 3 Premier League titles and the PL also alleged Man City of not co-operating in the investigation. 3 months since then and Manchester City have never looked stronger.

They have already become the first team since Manchester United to complete a hat-trick of Premier League titles as they saw off Arsenal comfortably to become the Kings of England once again.
