Pooran came to the crease after West Indies had lost two early wickets, and he immediately took the attack to the Indian bowlers. He hit the bowlers on all sides, and he also picked up boundaries off Arshdeep Singh and Hardik Pandya. Pooran’s innings were the catalyst for West Indies’ win, and it helped them to take a 2-0 lead in the series. The left-hander is now one of the leading run-scorers in the series, with 108 runs from two innings.

Pooran’s performance was a timely one for West Indies, who were struggling with the bat in the first T20I. He showed that he is one of the most destructive batsmen in world cricket when he is on song, and he will be a key player for West Indies if they are to win the series.
Pooran is a player who is capable of winning matches on his own, and he will be a major threat to India in the remaining three T20Is of the series.

Pooran’s form, a worry for India

Pooran’s form is a major worry for India heading into the rest of the series. The left-hander has been in excellent touch in recent months, and he has the ability to take the game away from India in a matter of overs. India needs to find a way to stop Pooran if they want to win the series. They could try bowling him with spin, as he has struggled against spin in the past. However, Pooran is also a very good striker of pace, so India will need to be careful not to give him too many easy deliveries.
