One of India’s classy and legendary Batsmen, Wasim Jaffer renewed his rivalry with Former England Captain Micheal Vaughan on Twitter after the Three Lions suffered an embarrassing T20I series loss against Bangladesh. The Three Lions are currently the format’s World champions and a 3-0 loss has amassed plenty of reactions against a relatively weaker side in front of them.
Just like English or Australian legends slam Indian players after any particular loss, Wasim Jaffer followed the lead and mocked England on their unbelievable loss. After winning the ODI series by 2-1, the White ball world champions failed to register a single victory in the following 3-match T20I series.
Bangladesh in short carried out a wonderful clean sweep against England in all of 3 T20Is and Wasim Jaffer who is currently serving as the Batting consultant of Bangladesh’s U-19 posted a picture of his wearing the jersey of the Bangla Tigers and mocked Micheal Vaughan.
Hello @MichaelVaughan, long time no see 😏 #BANvENG pic.twitter.com/3nimzfuHOw

This Twitter post/troll by Wasim Jaffer on England and Micheal Vaughan has amassed plenty of hilarious reactions. In simple words, Jaffer gave Vaughan the taste of his own medicine as Bangladesh humbled the T20 World champions with a 3-0 thumping at home.

If we look at this series from a Bangladeshi perspective then it was a major achievement. Shakib Al-Hasan’s side have become only the 2nd team to wipe out England by 3-0 since George Bailey’s Australia defeated the Three Lions with a same scoreline in 2014 (almost 9 years ago).
In the dead rubber, 🇧🇩 Bangladesh beat 🏴 England by 16 runs to inflict a damaging clean sweep on world champions.
0️⃣ The last time England were clean swept in a bilateral T20I series was vs 🇦🇺 Australia in 2014https://t.co/dpk8oirHRr

And for the first time in Bangladesh’s cricket history, they have earned a clean sweep against a full member nation of ICC in any particular format. The Bangla Tigers’ dominance at home has been truly surreal and they must build up on it especially in major ICC events.
Last year before the ICC T20 World cup at Australia, the Asian outfit defeated the Aussies and the New Zealanders in T20I series and also defeated India 2-1 in an ODI series which took place after the T20 World cup in December.
