WATCH: RCB Fans Chase Brett Lee's Car For a Selfie On Scooter

Brett Lee, a legendary Australian fast bowler, has a huge fan following all around the world, and he had an unexpected experience in Mumbai on Wednesday. Lee, who is now in India as part of the broadcasting team for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, was driving in his car when he received a special request from two fans. Two fans could be seen on their scooter in a video released on social media, and they kept asking him for a selfie while driving beside his car. Lee told them to “Aaram Se Aaram Se (Drive Carefully)” and even recommended them to wear helmets when driving to avoid injuries.

India is usually full of pleasant surprises! “I love the passion,” Lee said in the video’s caption.

Chennai Super Kings’ tried-and-tested method of leaving it late did not produce the intended results, as they fell by three runs against Rajasthan Royals in the 17th match of the IPL 2023.

This was CSK’s lone home loss to RR in eight games.

CSK concluded proceedings at 172/6, chasing a tough 176 for victory, with skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni remaining undefeated on a 17-ball 32. Dhoni, who was leading CSK for the 200th time in the IPL, struck three sixes and a boundary, while the other undefeated hitter, Ravindra Jadeja, got a 15-ball 25.

Sandeep Sharma, bowling the final over with 20 runs to defend, showed his nerve to restrain the yellow brigade, despite Dhoni’s two sixes in the over.

The Royals’ third win in four games propelled them to the top of the standings. They have six points, the same as the Lucknow Super Giants, although they lead in net run rate. CSK, on the other side, is in fifth place with two victories and two losses.

Former Australia bowler Brett Lee lauded Sharma, 29, on JioCinema.
