Watch: PSG’s Neymar pens down his 5-a-side Team

Paris Saint German’s star player Neymar reveals his 5-a-side team but opts for zero defenders

Neymar revealed his 5-a-side team, which includes a mix of former and current players with zero defenders and goalkeepers making it a very unbalanced team.

In an interview with Red Bull, shared by ESPN, Neymar added some of the ace players from Europe, but on the other hand, he probably signaled he shouldn’t be considered for the management side of the game, since his selection didn’t include a single defender or goalkeeper, and opted for a full attack team.

The names obviously had former Barca teammate and legendary player Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez. The trio has had a tremendous record in Spain by winning two La Liga titles, three Copa Del Rey and the Champions League in 2015.

Kylian Mbappe was his next pick; Mbappe was one of Europe’s legendary and star players. His record includes 78 goals of 106 outings with the club and his records prove he can be selected by most people for a 5-a-side team.

His next pick was Paul Pogba. His numbers were hindered due to his injuries hence could only make seven appearances in the Premier League, but played a very crucial role for France in the World cup.

Last but not least on the list is Eden hazard. After joining Madrid’s, he has been in just eight league outing and has been struggling for form since then, but he still makes a decent choice.

Clearly possession is nine-tenths of the law in Neymar’s book, who reckons as long as his side has the best forwards in world football then attack is the best form of defense.

When asked to make a team on the basis of retired players, where he selected four ex-Premier League players including Thierry Henry, Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard and David Beckham followed by Spanish legend Xavi.
