Watch: Pakistan skipper Babar Azam give indirect hint over his team participation in Upcoming World Cup scheduled in India

BCCI vs PCB

The upcoming Asia Cup 2023, where the Indian cricket board has refused to participate in Pakistan, created a massive stir on social media.

In the future, Men in Green will plan all of their games in Pakistan for different teams barring India. India would be playing all their league-stage matches in UAE.

If India were to advance to the playoffs, all of their games would take place in the United Arab Emirates.

According to reports in several media sites, PCB will visit India for the Men’s 50 Over World Cup.

In a recent press conference Babar Azam,  was questioned about his ambitions for Pakistan’s cricket, to which he responded, “We are definitely getting ready for the world cup, which will be played over under in India.”

“Me and Rizwan would surely contribute at the top of the order, but our other players who will be a part of the starting lineup would welcome the challenge and concentrate on playing their respective responsibilities to oversee our performance under those circumstances,” he continued.

Due to diplomatic issues across the border, India and Pakistan haven’t played in a bilateral series since their last one, which took place in 2013.

Pakistan is undoubtedly one of the most entertaining cricket teams in the world, having won the 50 Over World Cup in 1992 and the T20 World Cup in 2009, respectively.

They undoubtedly have strong fast bowlers on their team that can challenge any elite opponent batter.

Host India along with England and dark horse New Zealand will be favourites to win the title.

Currently, India is busy playing Border-Gavaskar Series against Australia on the other end Pakistan is busy playing Super League.
