Anushka Sharma, a Bollywood actress and the wife of India’s star cricketer and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) player Virat Kohli, uploaded an unreleased selfie of hereself, Virat Kohli and with them Faf du Plessis. Anushka appeared solemn in the photo, while Kohli struck an amusing attitude. Standing behind the pair, RCB captain Faf struck a creative posture for the camera. Anushka gave the group a creative moniker, writing “Team Green” on her Instagram story.

Additionally, Faf uploaded the image on his Instagram story with the caption, “Haha what are we called,” and tagged Anushka.

Then Anushka said, “Band name: fresh lime soda.”

The RCB team, which is owned by Kohli and Faf, also posted the image with the remark, “The coolest band in the IPL: Fresh Lime Soda.”

Fans on Twitter were quick to identify Team India head coach Rahul Dravid in the backdrop of the amusing Instagram exchange between Anushka and Faf as it quickly gained popularity on social media.

After claiming back-to-back victories in the IPL 2023, RCB are back on track. The RCB team has climbed into the top half of the points standings after victories against the Punjab Kings in Mohali and the Rajasthan Royals in Bengaluru.

At the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, RCB will meet Kolkata Knight Riders on Wednesday. With a victory, they would move up to third place in the standings with 10 points.

Faf presently leads the IPL 2023 in runs scored with 404 runs in seven games.
