The tournament has evenly panned out for each and every IPL outfit and Top 4 finish is on the cards for almost every team. All of the teams have played at least 8 games and only 24 matches are remaining for the league stages.

1. Former RCB Owner Vijay Mallya’s son kissing Deepika Padukone – Another contentious incident occurred at the Eden Gardens itself in 2011. This time, it involved Siddharth Mallya, the son of liquor tycoon Vijay Mallya, and Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone. Before allegedly breaking up in 2012, the pair were in a relationship.
They made their love known to one another while watching KKR and the Royal Challengers Bangalore play. Siddharth was seen holding Deepika in his arms after RCB defeated the opposition by nine wickets. Both were observed locked in an intense lip-lock as they cheered for RCB’s crushing victory and chased down 172.
2. Arshdeep Singh conceded 66 runs without even completing his entire quota of 4 overs – At number 1 we have Punjab Kings left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh. Last night during Punjab’s cruel loss against Mumbai Indians where the latter team chased down a 200+ total, Arshdeep Singh made the news for all the wrong reasons. Without even completing his entire quota, Arshdeep bowled one of the most expensive spells by a bowler in IPL history. The 24-year-old gave away 66 runs in 3.5 overs at an economy of 17. A couple of weeks ago against the same opponents, Arshdeep bowled 2 back-to-back deliveries which broke the middle stump and recipients were Nehal Wadhera and Tilak Verma but as they say, Cricket is a great leveler and the cold Arshdeep Singh was actually left cold against MI.
3. Rohit Sharma equals the record of most ducks in IPL history – The tournament’s most successful captain Rohit Sharma finds himself 2nd in the list of Top 5 most embarrassing moments/records in IPL history. The 5-time IPL winning captain has is now tied with the likes of Sunil Narine, Mandeep Singh and Dinesh Karthik in terms of most ducks in the history of the tournament.
