Jonassen was the third bowler to make a significant impact in the first match. She took 3-24 in the first innings, and 1-28 in the second. Jonassen is a right-arm medium pacer, and she was able to use the Trent Bridge pitch to her advantage. She bowled with great control, and was able to extract pace and swing from the surface. Jonassen also had the ability to take wickets, and she was able to dismiss some of England’s top batswomen.
