Thomas Barclay Sole, a cricket player from Scotland, was born on June 12, of the year 1996. On May 21, of the year 2017, while South Africa was touring England, Tom Sole made his List A debut for Northamptonshire against the South African squad.
Playing Cricket Career
In the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Tri-Nation Series 2017–18 against Ireland, Tom Sole played in his first One Day International (ODI) for the national cricket team of Scotland.
Sole grabbed four wickets for fifteen runs in a 2018 Cricket World Cup Qualifier match against Hong Kong in the month of March at the Bulawayo Athletic Club in Bulawayo. After Hong Kong was knocked out for 92 runs, Scotland defeated Hong Kong by a margin of 4 wickets. As a result of his efforts, Sole was selected the game’s player of the match.
On August 17, of the year 2018, Tom Sole played his first Twenty 20 match for Northamptonshire in the 2018 t20 Blast. Tom Sole was chosen to represent the Glasgow Giants in the inaugural Euro T20 Slam cricket competition in the month of July of the year 2019. Unfortunately, the cricket competition was abandoned the very next month.
